Strategic Focus

Reenal Scott
Governance & Policy

Advancing ethical governance, reforming outdated sports policies, promoting ADR mechanisms, and supporting legislation with stakeholder rights are vital steps to ensure transparency, fairness, and accountability while fostering inclusive, just, and professional sports development.

Research & Innovation

Conducting multidisciplinary, data-driven sports research, pioneering digital innovation and gamification, establishing a CSRG Creative Lab with a digital media hub, and building a pan-African academic and policy network will drive collaboration, creativity, and sustainable sports development.

Capacity Building

Offering training in legal, ethical, and administrative aspects of sports, developing curriculum and education programs in sports and culture, and supporting media professionals, analysts, and commentators will enhance knowledge, professionalism, and cultural understanding in the sports sector.

Cultural Integration

Promoting indigenous games and heritage traditions, supporting national festivals, arts branding, and residencies, advocating for cultural rights and intercultural competence, and documenting oral histories while creating a National Museum of Sports and Culture will preserve identity and foster inclusivity.

Social Inclusion & Empowerment

Enhancing access to leisure for marginalized groups, promoting gender equity and inclusive participation in sport, and empowering youth and creatives through entrepreneurship and leadership development will foster equality, inclusion, and sustainable growth in the sports and creative sectors.

Global Engagement

Enhancing diplomacy through cultural and sports partnerships, championing international observances like World Sports Legends and Veterans Day (WSLVD), and celebrating excellence through awards and honors will strengthen global cooperation, recognition, and pride in sporting achievements.
